servers. These power all we do and hold all we create for
you.
When U.S. Media Group was established in
1997 we chose to do windows. AHHHHHH! We too make mistakes
but we learn. Today, we host all of our work on Enterprise
Unix web servers with quad 2.8 Ghz processors and a minimum
of 2 GB RAM. The supercomputers are remotely administered
and locked down in the most secure data center on the
planet. In fact, the guy that dusts the floors must possess
top level security clearance and pass through advanced
biometrics security measures!
When your data is on U.S. Media Group web
servers, you are ready for anything. Suspended floors,
advanced fire suppression, cooling, diesel powered backup
generators, the works! in fact, we don't even try to sell
hosting. We reserve it for our clients to ensure that anyone
who chooses U.S. Media Group gets the best we can offer.
In addition to web servers, we also
utilize servers specifically configured and equipped for
broadcasting across the Internet.

We can create just about any flavor of web
site you can imagine. php, flash, html, xml, css,
e-commerce, you name it, we can manage it. Of course with
U.S. Media, we specialize in mixing things up to create
unique web applications that get your job done. Our hottest
commodity right now is live broadcasting from your location
through your web site to your viewers around the world.
Here's how it can work for you and for less cost than you
think;
Your organization utilizes your broadband
Internet connection, and a combination of hardware and
software consisting of;
- A modern computer meeting our minimum
specifications
- A digital camcorder or professional
video camera that will interface with the computer
- Specialized software we install on
your computer or which comes pre-installed if you
purchase your computer from us. This software is called
a media encoder which basically takes in your raw live
video and formats it to our specifications and streams
it to the media server
- Our special media servers designed to
handle the live and on-demand audio/video files. The
media server receives your streams and then serves it
out to all the viewers that are on your web site.

in action. There are many configuration settings that give
you control over various aspects of your audio/video
streams.
You have an input screen and an output
screen that show the status of your audio and video
throughput.
In addition to streaming live, our encoder
will simultaneously, if you elect, write a local video file
which you may use for other applications such as
presentations or archiving for future use or on-demand
broadcasting.
 So
once your video is pushed to the media server and sent out
to your web site viewers, what's left for you to do? Are
your viewers out there on their own figuring it out for
themselves? Not with U.S. Media Group. Our admin interface
allows you to interact live with all those viewers on your
web site.
You have a secret administration
application you can run from your web site. It is easily
accessible and integrated seamlessly into your web site's
design.
Now get this, your live video broadcast
has a built in chat application which you can toggle on or
off at will. If you want to open up dialog with your web
site viewers you are completely free to do so. This is no
light-weight tool. You have a full control panel which shows
users' IP addresses, word censor list which is editable and
complete kick and ban controls for the unlikely event you
have an unruly visitor trying to mess things up for you.
When your visitors come to your web site
they will follow your link to the broadcast page. Once they
are there, nothing could be easier. If chat is not on, they
will only see the video screen viewer. If chat is on, they
will see the video screen as well as a chat box. They enter
their name, click sign in, and they are live for viewing as
well as interacting with your staff admin.

These are advanced displays with unique software. Don't
confuse this setup as just a couple of monitors on a stick.
For the ultimate in portable
power computing with multi-screen displays we can configure
our rhino box to meet any need. CAD, SOUND MIXING, VIDEO
EDITING, BROADCASTING just to name a few. The RHINO BOX
utilizes triple 17" displays in either standard or touch
screen varieties. With the RHINO BOX rugged is the key. When
you are ready to pack up and go on location, everything
folds into a durable box for easy transport. NO LAPTOP can
